Prime Studio was approached by a luxury Italian shoe brand to develop a premium, sustainable packaging system aimed at replacing their conventional shoe box and shipper solution.

Our aim was to develop a modular system that could accommodate a wide variety of shoe structures while packing flat to reduce storage space in the workshops. The primary structure is composed of a premium molded-pulp frame wrapped in a fiberboard shell, with velvet straps keeping shoes secure

We utilized molded pulp for its ability to maintain structural rigidity as well as fine branding detail, perfect for the client’s needs for a premium yet sturdy vessel. The main package “blooms” to reveal the shoes facing right side up, providing a premium unboxing experience for the customer.
